My Sweet Roxy

Tell me Roxy, where does the time go
When we would lay together
Belly to belly next to each other
In each others presence

Where does the time go
When we would talk together
You and me
Me and you
Professing how we love each other

Where does the time go
When you would visit me at the most oddest times-
In the bathroom-
Just wanting some of my love?

Where does the time go
Wen we would walk together on the same path, in the woods
Sometimes right beneath my feet
So I could stop and pet and love you?

Tell me Roxy,
Where does the time go
When I was sick
and you would come beside me-
you just being there
With your warmth or your meow
Would put a smile on my face

Tell me Roxy
Where does the time go
When you would show me your glorious belly
and my whole being would smile
Laying on your back -
Trusting and happy
Ohhhhhh that I will miss

Where has the time gone Roxy
When you would interrupt Dad and I from eating
Lifting your paw onto us to be pet and loved

Oh Roxy
I miss your voice
Your sweet purr
Your gorgeous belly
Your cute walk
Your cute butt
Your lovely face

Ohh my life will never be the same
Maybe it never was.

The Teachers

Take me to the gateway of your everlasting
Existence and
Non-existence

Let me set forth with your light,
My light,
Our light.

Let me dive into the portals of presence
Into this world
And beyond

Show me the way, One.

Yet may I say
I embrace your directors
Who have paved and inspired our journey

Grateful for the oneness around me
Teaching and guiding me...
to the known and unknown.

Thank you to the human teachers of light

Thank you to the melodious sounds of the ocean.
(pause...listen)

Thank you to the still
And moving clouds.
(Pause...see them)

Thank you to my conscious...breath
(pause...feel it)

Thank you to the rocks and their stillness
(pause... sense it)

Thank you to the tree
Winter quiet and still
(pause...embody it)

Thank you passing car
Your sounds remind me of togetherness -
for we are not alone.
(pause...remember)

Teachers of Oneness
Everything and everywhere
Thank you for teaching me
How to remember the One.

Synopsis:
To me, presence is oneness. My life's purpose is to dwell more and more in this home. The beginning of this poem is like a prayer. And then I am answered by all that is in front of me. In the now with all my blessed given senses, I find my home. This is a homage to everything that are my teachers.
