That Sweet Room

We were in my room
and I knew deep down inside
 there would never be another moment like this
Bells ringing in the outside
Where fairies gather to play
Loving friends and family excited about our day

But in this room that landed this day
A moment that could take my breath away
Simple sweet and in between
Getting ready for my wedding dream
As old as I am
As young as I felt
When my mom helped me put on my fairie meld
The look in her eyes was
What she and I had been waiting for
The moment has come
A dream of dreams
And here it was
So special
A moment that will be forever in our hearts
And all around me in this sweet room
Was love all the way from when I was a little girl
My sweet Aunts and their love for me
Friends who have been like mothers to me
Fairies of young all by my side
And my sweet brother waiting till I put on my bride
OH what a day
in that sweet little room
The impermanence of it all
The moment is there
and then its gone.
How precious these moments
Life never to be the same again
Millions of moments
Passing us by
OH how this day reminds me
to live each moment of my life.
