Move Beyond the Law

Don't you know that it
is in us all?
It is so easy to side with the victim
To understand and feel
for them, us.

Yet the truth of the other side
The dark part, the "evil" part, the villian, the killer, the greedy and
the power hungry
Are all inside of us
We see a picture-
magnified a 100%
And we think "we are seperate from them"
Yet we carrry a percentage
No matter how large or small
And collectively bigger then that picture of greed we just saw
Ohhhh, you know
The 1%
How many times have we bought more then we really need?
More food, more money, more clothes.
It is a defect in the human race

We are at the core
Filled with the same condition
The list goes on and on
Yet to realize it all
Existing in us all
The positive and the negative
As we are governed with the rules of this law

Yet the only way to become free
To neutralize this law
Conscious responsability of your inner world
Will help us
to neutralize this law
and beautify immensly
our outter and inner worlds.

Synopsis:
This poem has been inspired by the movie "The Matrix" and the work I am doing on myself.
With all that is going on in this world right now, we are many times divided.  The 1% and us, the bad ones, the good ones, republican, democrates, the corporations and us.  It is so easy to point the finger...for I do it a lot...  Yet for me to take "conscious" responsability that as quick as I am to blame everyone else...it is also inside of me.  And collectively that is more then the single ones we see on TV.  The only way that I see us freeing ourselves from the positive and negative, is through working on one's self.  Seeing all the good and bad that is within us, and working to free our selves from these weaknesses...

I don't have a good answer in truth, I really just feel it.  Yet I see as examples that those who are beautifying this world with love and grace and beauty and healing, are those who started with their inner worlds first.
